ROARRR!!!!

I'm currently in the process of redoing some projects, starting a fresh. As one of the main piece of feedback I get on my portfolio, is there isn't enough digital work present. So i'm bringing my work into the digital medium, starting off with my Make Museums Sexy project, a poster from said project can be seen above. Outcomes for this project will now include a poster, an iPhone app/iPod touch app, a website, and an online animated advertisement.

Logo for the UK Roller Derby Association

Since discovering Roller Derby, you could say it was love at first sight and when an opportunity came along to design the logo for the UK Roller Derby Association, I jumped at the chance. This is the result.

Be Your Own Hero

Whilst learning more about this awesome sport, I found these really visually striking posters advertising the sport. The posters seem to have been influenced by many different artistic styles, such as Art Noveau and most notably the rock poster phenomenon of the 1990's.
Recently purchased the majority of my kit, and I even managed to buy a helmet with the distinctive style of the 1990's - Take a look at this!

The UK Roller Derby Association (UKRDA) are running a competition to design their logo, I thought this would be a perfect time to get involved artistically aswell as physically with promoting the sport. My team The Hellfire Harlots have also approached me to do some recruitment posters for the team's Roller Derby Recruitment month starting the 5th of october.

Armed Forces Day 2010

I have ever growing respect for the armed forces. The work that they do is just incredible and as I am looking into joining the RAF or the RAF Reserves I felt compelled to go down and show my support. Sadly my camera battery died moments after I got there, but these are some of the shot I managed to get.
