Nazi's in colour...

I recently came across these photographs, taken during and leading up to the days of world war 2. I found them particularly interesting as it seems to make history seem more real. These photos have more of an impact because they are in colour, there is the aspect of reality which you just don't seem to get in black and white photographs. Especially the photos of Hitler, just sends a shiver down my spine.

Playing with a new lens.

Recently i bought a new lens for portrait photography, mainly for my sisters wedding, as i have been nominated as 'sub' photographer. Which basically means letting the main photographer do their primary shots, then i do the rest. Which means its time for me to brush up on my photography skills. Never really done any portrait photography before. Mainly just concentrate on the urban environment and every day life, so it will be a bit of a challenge. Last night i was just playing around with the lens, seeing how it works, honestly i dont know much about the technical side of photography, so im still very much learning at the moment. But these are some of the results. 50-50.

I never seem to be happy with any cv that i design. This is my latest version. Needs updating though, but i do favor this over previous versions.
